
Dr. Laurence Saint Pierre, DVM, DACVECC
Nora Eccles-Harrison Cardiovascular Research and Training Institute
Dr. Saint-Pierre earned her veterinary degree from the Toulouse National Veterinary School in France before completing an internship and residency at the University of California, Davis. She became board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 2022. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and Acute Care Translational Research at the Nora Eccles Harrison Cardiovascular Research and Training Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her research focuses on developing therapies to mitigate organ damage, particularly acute kidney injury, by preserving mitochondrial function during severe hemorrhage.
